July

4 - 7pm

Join them as they tale a tale of just what to do with the abundance that is coming from your (or your friends) gardens. They will discuss canning, (pressure canning, hot water baths, jams, jellies, etc) freezing, and drying/dehydration. You will spend the first two hours at their store and then saunter over to the local cannery for a detailed tour. The Fannin cannery is a underused blessing to the community and makes quick work of putting up your harvest. Folk Apothic is remembering their Appalachian Roots. Purveyors of all organic herbs, teas, salves, extraction, ointments, supplies, mountain knowledge and all things folk. Stories and wisdom are shared through hands-on workshops.
